PUNNICHY, Sask. – Mounties are hunting for three men after a violent home invasion on a Saskatchewan First Nation.

Police say it happened Monday night at a home on the Muskowekwan First Nation, about 140 kilometres northeast of Regina.

RCMP say seven people in disguise forced their way into the home with steel bars, baseball bats and a firearm.

The six adults and two children were in the home at the time.

Police say significant damage was done to the home and a vehicle outside the home.

Two men who lived in the home were injured and were treated at hospital and released.
