Three Prince Albert arenas are going to see 27 different “all-reserve” teams from throughout the prairie provinces hit the ice this weekend.

The puck drops Friday at 9 a.m. at the Prince Albert Grand Council’s fourth annual recreational hockey tournament. This year, five women’s teams are signed up.

There will be games going on from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The last game is set to end around noon on Sunday, and that’s when awards will be handed out.

Tickets are $10 dollars apiece, and admission’s free for anyone 60 and up, or kids 5 and under.

The games are scheduled at the Art Hauser Centre, Kinsmen Arena and Dave G Steuart Arena.

Last year, the final game was played by the La Ronge 89ers and Beardy’s, with Beardy’s taking the top prize.
