Two men are dead and one woman is in critical condition after the truck they were driving in rolled over on Wednesday night.

Five people, all from Biggar, were taking a curve on Highway 14 just east of Biggar when they went off the road, hit a highway approach, lost control, and rolled multiple times.

The 20-year-old man driving, and another man, 19, were pronounced dead on the scene.

Three women, between the ages of 20 and 21, who were in the truck are all in Saskatoon hospital. One of the women is in critical condition, and the other two are considered stable at this time.

A highway closure was in place while police and fire crews responded to and investigated the rollover.

The RCMP has not released names in this incident.

The accident is the second to see the death of young men in Biggar in the past week.

Over the weekend, a 20-year-old man died after rolling over while driving a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle.

He had been with two other males, between the ages of 17 and 20.

The RCMP reported that alcohol containers were found on the scene of that rollover. One of the passengers was discharged the following day while another was still in hospital for observation earlier this week.
