Last week, there was a quick resolution for a man charged with uttering threats and resisting arrest out of Onion Lake.

Garth Swiftwolfe, 18, had been charged with fleeing police, assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest, uttering threats, and multiple breaches of an undertaking.

He was arrested after allegedly uttering threats at a home in the community, and being involved in an ensuing police chase on August 14. Three other men were arrested and faced similar charges.

Swiftwolfe entered guilty pleas to the breaches in Onion Lake court on Wednesday, and the other charges were withdrawn by the Crown.

Swiftwolfe was sentenced to 30 days in custody and is serving that now.

He has pending court matters related to separate incidents, out of North Battleford.

His three co-accused are out on bail, and will return to court on September 16.
