Several northern Saskatchewan communities and projects will reap the benefits of over $7 million dollars in funding announced by the Community Initiatives Fund.
This morning, the CIF announced the approval of 502 different grants for projects across the province.
Northern communities and programs will receive nearly $350 thousand dollars for their programs.
Over 180 thousand dollars will be given to projects in the La Ronge area.
These projects cover a wide range of programs and services and are aimed to improve the well-being of their communities.
