Family and Friends of a Muskowekwan First Nation teenager who went missing over 4 years ago will continue the search for him this weekend.

Cody Ridge Wolfe was 17 years old when he disappeared on April 19, 2011.  He was last seen leaving his grandmother’s house on route to a friend’s house.  Cody sent his last text shortly after midnight and never made it to his friend’s house.

The family has continued to search for Cody.  Cody’s aunt Myrna Laplante says they have not given up hope in finding him.

“There is the same level in determination in locating him on behalf of the family,” said Laplante.  “We are really determined to find him and find out where he might be.”

Family, friends and community members will be conducting a search this Saturday and Sunday in the area Cody disappeared.

Laplante says any help the public is willing to offer in the search effort would be appreciated.

“Of course the big thing is information,” said Laplante.  “If people have any information or heard anything we certainly would like people to report this information.”

The search will begin at the Muskowekwan Band Hall on Saturday morning.

UPDATE

No evidence of Cody’s whereabouts were found during the weekend search, but organizers say they have plans for more searches in the future.

The RCMP have tentative plans to conduct a water search in the area in July.
