Stony Rapids RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a prisoner who escaped while making a court appearance.
Last Wednesday, Soloman Toutsaint ran away from the court house in Black Lake while making an appearance on break and enter charges.
Police had believed the 21 year-old would still be in the community, but their search efforts have been unsuccessful, therefore, they are reaching out to the public for assistance.
Mounties are also concerned as the weather is expected to change in the coming days, thich could affect the search efforts.
Toutsaint is described as First Nations, 5 feet 9 inches tall and approximately 150 pounds.
Police say Toutsaint is considered to be a non-violent offender.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police.
