Police continue search for an inmate who escaped from custody on Saturday.
Thirty-five-year-old Allan Roderick Wright of the Moosomin First Nation is an inmate at the minimum security Willow Cree Healing Lodge in Duck Lake.
Wright escaped from custody while being escorted on a temporary absence on Moosomin First Nation.
He is described as 6’ 2” tall, weighing 256 pounds, with medium complexion, brown eyes and black hair.
Wright is serving a three-year and five-month sentence for assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, break and enter and forcible confinement.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP or Crimestoppers.
