A 42-year-old man is facing nearly a dozen charges after a firearms complaint at the Thunderchild First Nation.
RCMP were called to the reserve on Monday evening after reports that a man had pointed a firearm and threatened to kill someone.
The suspect was arrested, firearms were seized and there were no injuries.
The man made his first court appearance Wednesday in St Walburg.
The charges include pointing a firearm, uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
RCMP say the man also had a number of other outstanding charges and will be taken to Meadow Lake to deal with these charges.
