A 60-year-old man from Sturgeon Lake First Nation died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night.
Police say the incident happened while the man was walking in the middle of Sturgeon Lake Road.
An oncoming truck did not see the man and subsequently struck him.
The 67-year-old male driver of the truck stopped immediately and called for assistance.
Paramedics and police arrived on the scene shortly after and pronounced the man dead.
Police say no charges have been laid and the incident is still under investigation.
