An investigation is underway after a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Moosomin First Nation.

The 37-year-old Medstead resident was was struck by a car in the driveway of a local residence shortly after midnight last night.

She was pronounced dead on the scene.

RCMP say the victim had been at a gathering at the residence.

An autopsy has been ordered and will be conducted in Saskatoon tomorrow.

The name of the victim is not yet being released at the request of the family.
