A northern Saskatchewan man accused of firing shots in the community of Sucker River over the weekend has been released from custody on an undertaking.

At around 10:30 Saturday night, La Ronge RCMP received several complaints of a man shooting at homes, vehicles and in the air.

Police say 39-year-old Craig Larson of Sucker River was arrested without incident.

No one was hurt.

Larson faces several charges including two counts of mischief that endangered life, careless use of a firearm and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

He made a court appearance today in La Ronge and will be back in court on October 6 to enter a plea.
