Three housing announcements totaling more than $1.5 million in federal provincial funding were announced in Northern Saskatchewan today.
Provincial Housing Minister Donna Harpaur along with Desenthe-Missinippi-Churchill River MP Rob Clark made the announcements in La Loche, Ile-à-la-Crosse and Buffalo Narrows.
Included in the announcements is the construction of five single family homes for low and moderate income earners in Ile-à-la-Crosse.
There will also be the construction of a fourplex in Buffalo Narrows for seasonal workers and possibly pensioners and the construction of two duplexes for single parent families in La Loche.
