Police have apprehended a 29-year-old female murder suspect who went missing earlier this month.

Regina police arrested Brianna Wesaquate on Tuesday morning.

She is accused of second-degree murder in the October 2013 death of Cassandra Joan Desjarlais.

Wesaquate was released from custody in March and put on electronic monitoring.

She went missing from her Pasqua First Nation residence on Aug. 5.

Wesaquate is now facing an additional charge of being at large while on an undertaking.

She appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Tuesday afternoon.
