A yearly gathering to promote healing for families who have lost loved ones will be held on the Muskoday First Nation this weekend.
The “Healing the Families of Murdered and Missing Peoples Gathering” will begin Saturday at the Veterans Memorial Park in Muskoday and will run until Tuesday.
Organizers say they are a group of individuals inspired to provide a healing process to those who have lost loved ones.
They hope to embrace a holistic approach to healing, embodied in traditional First Nation practices.
This is the third year the event has been held on the Muskoday reserve.
