A Prince Albert woman who was critically injured in an assault in the city over the weekend has been transferred to an Edmonton hospital.
The 47-year-old woman was found with life-threatening injuries Sunday morning in the 1200 block of 1st Avenue West.
She was found by a passerby picking bottles who then flagged down another person who called 9-1-1.
The woman was initially taken to Prince Albert’s Victoria Hospital, before being stabilized and sent to Saskatoon’s Royal University Hospital in critical condition.
She is now listed in serious condition at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.
