The man accused of killing a 24 year old woman from Sucker River and leaving her body in the bush will have a preliminary hearing this fall.
In December, RCMP arrested 27 year old Ricky Ross following the death of Jodi Roberts.
She had been reported missing on November 6 and her body was found near Suck River on November 27.
An autopsy determined she did not die of natural causes.
Ross was arrested in December and charged with first degree murder.
He appeared in La Ronge Provincial Court on Monday and the date for his preliminary hearing was set for October 14, also in La Ronge.
The suspect has been in custody since he was arrested.
