Police are investigating a house fire that occurred in the northern community of Deschambault Lake on Tuesday.
RCMP were called to the burning residence around 7 p.m. where an officer entered and rescued a 21-year-old female from the home.
The woman had been sleeping on a couch.
She is not a resident.
The home was destroyed in the fire.
