There has been a development in the legal proceedings against a former teacher at the Moosomin First Nation day school.

69-year-old Morris David Hryniuk is charged with indecently assaulting eight different victims between 1964 and 1969.

He was due to enter a plea and decide whether he wanted a jury trial during a court appearance in North Battleford this morning.

But the case has been adjourned until June 2nd for what the Crown prosecutor said today is a “possible resolution” to the matter.
