Court heard an audiotape Monday afternoon of Douglas Hales allegedly leading undercover officers to the site of Daleen Bosse’s remains in August 2008.

Hales is on trial for first-degree murder in the death of the 25-year-old woman from Onion Lake Cree Nation.

Bosse’s remains were found in a secluded wooded area near Martensville four years after she was last seen in May 2004.

A voice on the tape describes dragging a body about 20 feet from a vehicle, setting it on fire in a clearing and throwing a discarded fridge over top.

The male voice on the tape also describes returning to the area a few months later to find the fridge moved and no remnants of the body remaining.

He says he remembers feeling an incredible sense of anger for all those who had wronged him while he performed the act.

Earlier in the day, an undercover officer testified to the court Hales told him he once hired an Aboriginal prostitute who made fun of him because of his sexual performance.
