A man from Moosomin First Nation has been sentenced to jail following a series of cabin break-ins in the Cochin area.
Battlefords RCMP investigated more than 60 break-ins last fall and six people were eventually charged.
One of the suspects, 25-year-old Alex Frenchman, was in court last week and given a two-year jail sentence.
In January, 22-year-old Blake Moccasin of the Saulteaux First Nation was sentenced to four months in jail followed by 12 months probation.
Two youths were also sentenced to lengthy periods of probation.
The two other adults who were charged have upcoming court dates.
