Regina police want to talk to a mother and daughter who shared a home with a man who was murdered last weekend.

At first, it looked like a death caused by a fire – but an autopsy has determined 53-year-old Ray Yacevich died as a result of foul play.

His body was removed from a home in North Central Regina following the fire in the small bungalow.

Forty-one-year-old Rosalyn Faye Wilm and her 21-year-old daughter Sarah Dawn Louisa Wilm lived in the home with Yacevich.

They have not been seen since just before the fire and police want to make sure the women are safe.

They do not know if they had any role in the fire or the death.
