The Meadow Lake Tribal Council has announced a new partnership which will see it getting into the cell phone business.
MLTC Resource Development is working with SaskTel and Prairie Mobile Communications on the project.
Red Eagle Cellular is a new authorized SaskTel cellular dealer which will open a location next month at the Grasswoods PetroCanada in Saskatoon.
Future plans include expansion to other dealer locations on both First Nation urban reserves and select northern reserves.
Red Eagle Cellular will open its first location in early April.
It will be the ninth subsidiary company owned by MLTC Resource Development.
