It appears a car thief from Alberta may be in the Montreal Lake region.
Police say it was last Friday a vehicle was stolen from Sherwood Park, Alberta.
Since that time it has been involved in two incidents where the driver filled up and drove off without paying.
The vehicle, a Pontiac Pursuit with tinted windows, was also involved in a police chase around 1:00 a.m. this morning.
Authorities say they’ve located the vehicle in a ditch, just north of Montreal Lake, where it had apparently rolled over.
The suspect is being described as a white female, with red hair, wearing a black winter parka, blue jeans and tan boots.
Anyone with information about where she might be is asked to contact police.
