Today is the first day of advance polls for the Fond du Lac Denesuline First Nation’s chief and council election.
Three men are running for chief — incumbent Earl Lidguerre, former chief Napoleon Mercredi and fellow challenger Felix McDonald.
Twenty-one people are running for council, including three incumbents.
The actual election is set for Friday.
