Funeral services were held in Regina Friday afternoon for a boy killed on the Kahkewistahaw First Nation last week.
Six-year-old Lee Bonneau died as a result of severe trauma suffered during an assault.
He was in foster care and staying on the reserve when he died.
In the meantime, RCMP are wrapping up their investigation into the death.
A news conference is scheduled for next Tuesday when police are expected to provide an update.
So far no one has been charged.
