Five people are facing charges after drug seizures this week in two northern communities.
Tuesday evening Pierceland RCMP searched a home on the Big Island Lake Cree Territory.
Investigators say they found 10 ounces of marijuana, 150 rolled joints, cash and cell phones.
Four men were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Then around 8:30 last night, Stony Rapids RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in the community.
Police say they found about 1.8-pounds of marijuana, cash and a firearm.
A 45-year-old man faces several charges including trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
