A familiar voice to MBC listeners is one of this year’s winners of the Canada Council for the Arts Molson Prizes.
Richard Wagamese is an Ojibway author and journalist.
He also does the “One Native Life” series which airs weekly on MBC.
Canada Council Director and CEO Robert Sirman says in a release this year’s winners offer new narratives on culture, environment and sense of community.
The other Canada Council for the Arts winner is Ann Dale who is recognized for her work in advancing sustainable communities across the country.
