Two teenagers in Prince Albert have been charged after a violent incident in the West Flat.
Police were called out to a report that someone was being held against their will at a house on 15th Street West.
However, the occupants refused to answer the door — and police then received word one of them might have a handgun.
Sgt. Kelly McLean says the SWAT unit was called in and people began to exit the home:
“SWAT members directed three additional people outside of the residence, and a sweep of the house with a K-9 was completed. Members are remaining on scene at this time awaiting a warrant and additional investigative steps need to be taken to complete this investigation.”
Two males, aged 18 and 19, have been charged with assault causing bodily harm and forcible confinement.
Another man, the alleged victim in the case, was taken to hospital and released.
