A bomb threat over the weekend forced an evacuation of the Dakota Dunes Casino on the Whitecap Dakota First Nation.

Authorities say it was Saturday night that the RCMP received a 9-1-1 call of a bomb inside the building.

A search was carried out, but the threat turned out to be false.

Officers later tracked down a 38-year-old male suspect in a Saskatoon hotel.

He was arrested without incident and has been charged with uttering threats, mischief and public mischief.

He is due in court on May 23.
