Voters on the Pelican Lake First Nation gave a stamp of approval to their chief this weekend.
On Friday, the band voted Chief Dennis Lewis in for a second term.
He defeated three other challengers to lay claim to the title.
Joining him on the executive are returning councilors Willy Thomas, Peter Sakebow, Calvin Thomas and Jimmy Bill.
Two new councilors were also elected – they are Lee Bill and David Thomas.
All of the newly elected officials will serve three-year terms.
