The long-time chief of the Muskoday First Nation has been re-elected for another term.
Austin Bear defeated three other challengers in an election on the reserve yesterday.
Also successfully defending their seats on council were Herman Crane and Eldon Crane.
Three new band councillors were also elected — Alfred Crane, Randy Bear and Elaine Ross.
All of the winners will serve two-year terms in office.
