It appears the city of Prince Albert has yet another freezing death.

Police say the body of a 62-year-old man was found lying in the snow on the 1500 block of 6th Avenue West at around 5:00 this morning.

Parkland Ambulance was called and took the man to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Sgt. Curtis Halcro says there are no indications of foul play — but if the death is ruled to be by hypothermia, it will be the city’s fourth freezing death of the winter.

“We haven’t determined the cause of death at this time — but if that were to be the case, that would be the number, yes.”

An autopsy will be done.

The man’s name has not been released.
