Regina Police confirm that the suspicious death of a man early New Year’s Eve is a homicide.
It was Regina’s seventh homicide of 2012.
Shortly after midnight on Monday, police responded to a report of an injured male in the 1100 block of Robinson Street.
When they arrived on the scene, officers found a 26-year-old man who was critically injured.
Police carried out CPR until EMS arrived and transported the victim to hospital.
The man was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later.
The victim has been identified as Delvin Charles Mike of Regina.
No charges have been laid.
