There’s a new chief on the Flying Dust First Nation.
Robert Merasty defeated incumbent leader Jim Norman 191 votes to 123.
He now begins a 2 year-term.
Incumbent councillors Percy Derocher, Marie Gladue and Jeremy Norman were also re-elected. They are joined by fellow winner Marie McCallum, who has served as a councillor before in previous years.
The vote took place on Thursday.
