An American hunter has been fined for illegally exporting wildlife.

David Hamby, of South Carolina, was recently convicted on two counts of unlawfully purchasing a Canadian deer license, using another person’s license and exporting wildlife without a permit.

Conservation officials say Hamby unlawfully purchased white-tailed deer licenses in 2009 and 2010 and used them to harvest deer.

He has been ordered to pay a $7,100 fine.

In addition, Humby has been suspended from hunting for one year.

Authorities also seized other items.
