More charges have been laid in connection to a case involving the death of a man from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation.

It was back in February that the body of 22 year-old Mervin McAdam was discovered inside a burning trash bin in Saskatoon.

Two people have since been charged with his murder.

Today police announced they’ve laid charges against other people, a direct result of the investigation into the death of the young man.

A 19 year-old male and 15 year-old female each face charges of directing a criminal organization and conspiring to traffic cocaine.

Seven other teenagers, ranging from 15 to 18 years of age, also face one charge each of conspiring to traffic in cocaine.
