A television show that mixes Aboriginal culture and science together is moving into more Saskatchewan households.
“Planet Echo” can currently be seen on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, but is being picked up by Citytv Saskatchewan.
Chuck Clemente is one of the show’s creators.
Clemente says the show illustrates how people, places and things are connected to the natural world:
“Planet Echo has always sort of conceived to be a show that demonstrates all the amazing things that people are doing to look after our planet — some of which are based on traditional knowledge of Aboriginal people, something that’s near and dear to our hearts.”
The show is entering its third season, and also recently launched an iPad app.
