A trial will be held in Battleford Court of Queen’s Bench for a Poundmaker First Nation resident facing TLE fraud charges.
Victoria McMillan faces charges of theft over $5,000, fraud over $5,000 and breach of her duties as a trustee. She pleaded not guilty to those charges last April.
McMillan also faces two other charges laid last summer — fraud over $5,000 and theft over $5,000.
The decision to send the case to trial was made yesterday, after a preliminary hearing in North Battleford Provincial Court.
A date for that trial has not been set yet.
McMillan is one of nine people who were charged with TLE fraud.
