A man will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court tomorrow facing 12 charges after a break-and-enter and police chase.

Twenty-two-year-old Tyler Dane Meetoos was arrested last night after he allegedly broke into a North Battleford resident’s home, stole their car, and ended up in a ditch after a police chase.

His charges include choking to overcome resistence, forcible confinement and dangerous driving.

Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky says, at one point, RCMP called off the chase to avoid endangering anyone.

No one was injured in the incident.

Meetoos remains in custody, pending tomorrow’s court appearance.
