Wakes are being held on Standing Buffalo First Nation today for the victims of last week’s double homicide.
Twenty-eight-year-old Sheldon Yuzicappi and 27-year-old Jessica Redman were killed last Thursday.
A wake for the couple is being held in the gym at the reserve’s school this afternoon. Funeral services will take place tomorrow.
Three people are facing charges of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths — 21-year-old Brittany Bear, 22-year-old Kody Bear, and a 17-year-old boy.
