Children too young to face any criminal charges have admitted they were responsible for a rash of break-ins and vandalism this month in Loon Lake in northwest Saskatchewan.

RCMP say five children were involved — and only one was older than 11.

About 25 cars had their windows smashed in Loon Lake.

The most recent incidents happened on September 12th, when about 30 cabins and sheds were broken into at the nearby Makwa Lake Resort.

The one child who is old enough to face charges is facing several counts of mischief.
