A new affordable housing project in La Loche has officially opened.
Desnethé-Missinippi-Churchill River MP Rob Clarke and Social Services Minister June Draude made the announcement.
The 1.5 million-dollar development has 12 one-bedroom units in three four-plexes.
The federal and provincial goverments shared the cost for the project.
It was developed by the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.
The La Loche Non-Profit Housing Corporation will manage it.
