RCMP say a fatal fire that happened on the Yellow Quill First Nation this spring was not suspicious.

The fire took place at around noon on May 10th and claimed the life of 45-year-old Penny Ann Whitehead.

Her remains were found in the rubble of a burned-out house.

Investigators say they are still not sure how the fire started, due to the extensive damage to the home — but they have determined that foul play was not involved.
