The Lac La Ronge Regional Water Corporation has lifted its precautionary drinking water advisory.
The advisory affected La Ronge, Air Ronge, and adjacent Lac La Ronge Indian Band reserves.
Residents of those communities had been asked to boil their water since last week’s prolonged power outage.
Local citizens were asked to boil their water for nine days in all.
The advisory was implemented because of the potential for contamination of the communities’ water supply during the subsequent depressurization of the water system.
