RCMP are confirming that a man’s body was found at Canoe Lake on Sunday night.
Cpl. Ryan How of the Canoe Narrows detachment says the deceased is a 44-year-old man from Jans Bay.
Friends and family members found the body along the shore during a search at about 9:30 p.m.
Foul play is not suspected, but an autopsy has been ordered.
Police have declined to release the name of the deceased.
