Onion Lake Cree Nation voters seem to have been pretty satisfied with their last band council.
They voted seven of eight councillors back into office during Wednesday’s election on the reserve.
The new member of council is George Dillon.
Re-elected council members are Joe Dillon, Walter Pahtayken, Delores Gamble, Doreen Masson, Tom Chief, Roy Littlewolfe and Leon Whitstone.
Chief Wallace Fox, who himself was re-elected by acclamation, says the fact so many were returned shows confidence in the direction they have been going.
