RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly robbed a La Loche store at knife-point.
The incident happened on the evening of May 8.
Two men, all dressed in black, robbed Reg’s Store in La Loche.
During the robbery they threatened the woman at the till with a large knife.
Witnesses say one man fled the store with a till under his arm.
Police are looking for Vernon John Laprise of Laloche.
Laprise is five-feet-seven inches tall, and weighs about 150 pounds.
He has several tattoos, including two scorpions on his upper chest and the word “scorpion” on his back.
It’s believed he could be in the Prince Albert area.
Residents are advised not to confront Laprise who could be armed and dangerous but rather to contact police.
