Pelican Narrows RCMP say the body found in a submerged pickup on the weekend is confirmed to be that of James Gallagher.
The 71-year-old man from White Fox was reported missing last fall.
The body was removed from the water on Sunday, and an autopsy was held yesterday in Saskatoon.
Police say positive identification was done through dental records.
Gallagher’s pickup was found after an off-duty RCMP officer discovered a part of the vehicle near McLurg Lake, about 20 km from Pelican Narrows.
