RCMP have confirmed the identity of a missing Saskatoon man who drowned in Cowan Lake on the long weekend.
Police say an autopsy was done today on the body of 23-year-old Colton James Thieman.
He was reported missing Sunday when the pontoon boat he was in broke down and he jumped into the water without a life jacket.
An RCMP underwater recovery team was brought in to conduct a search, and his body was located Tuesday evening.
Police say the water in the lake is still very cold.
